Take a closer look, next time you watch the opening credits for watchmen.
Hollis Mason saves Bruce Wayne's parents.
"You’ll see that they’re outside the Gotham Opera House, Mason has just saved Thomas and Martha Wayne(she’s even wearing her pearls). One of the plays displayed was “Die Fledermaus” which literally translates to “The Bat”. To make sure that we won’t miss it, they added several Batman posters at the well."
